With over 20 years experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings from churches to schools to residential facilities, I have seen the growth that occurs when people are offered a unique blend of compassion, honesty, and humor. Along with a clinical background embracing both Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy perspectives, I am excited to integrate new knowledge gained from Somatic Experiencing and Immanuel Approach training to create a holistic recovery experience for my clients. I refer to myself as a miner of hope, as I have seen the fruit yielded from committing oneself to a journey of living loved and restoring balance. I often tell clients, “if it worked for me, it can work for you too.” I am passionate about helping clients discover that love is not always easy, but it is never abusive or endangering, and it is always good news.
