The additional relevant information box is especially helpful for letting others know about special skills and/or resources you have to offer, and for making network connections around special needs and/or interests (others can then find you by using the search function). For example:
“I can facilitate sessions using ASL”: We recently got a request from a deaf person who is looking for an Immanuel approach facilitator who can provide sign language sessions. And I’m sure there are others. So if you can offer this resource, please let the rest of us know.
“I can provide phone/Skype sessions”: There are a lot of people who want Immanuel approach sessions, but who do not have any facilitators in their area. So one of the most common requests we get is, “Do you know anyone who does phone/Skype sessions?” If you offer phone/Skype sessions, you can mention this in the “Additional Relevant Information” box.
“I can facilitate Immanuel sessions in Korean (or Spanish, Swahili, Chinese, etc)”: Fluency in multiple languages is a huge asset, so please let the rest of us know if you have this to offer. For example, if you live in Chicago and speak Korean in addition to English, there may be Korean immigrants in the Chicago area who would greatly appreciate working with a facilitator who can speak their native language.
“I provide intensives”: There are a lot of people who want Immanuel sessions, don’t have anyone in their area, and are willing to travel. Understandably, these people are interested in having a number of sessions condensed into only a few days, so that they can make the best use of the time, energy, and money invested in travel. Therefore, if you are a facilitator, another valuable piece of information to include in the “Additional Relevant Information” box is whether or not you can provide this kind of intensive work.
Networking around special needs/interests: If you have special needs and/or interests, please describe these. For example, if there are a number of groups planning emotional healing mission work in Uganda, and each of them include this information in their profiles, then they can use the search function to find each other and coordinate their efforts.
